Product Description

MONEL K-500 alloy has the same corrosion resistance as 400, but has higher mechanical strength and hardness. It has good heat corrosion resistance and long-term structural stability. It is mainly used to manufacture turbine blades and gas turbine blades with working temperatures below 750℃ on aircraft engines; used to manufacture fasteners and springs on ships; pumps and valve parts on chemical equipment; scraper blades on papermaking equipment, etc.

Monel K500 alloy has good resistance to acidic and alkaline media, which makes the Monel UNS N05500 Plates an ideal material for the pulp and paper industry, as the components are constantly in contact with bleaches or various chemicals and with water as well.The UNS N05500 plate is particularly resistant to sour gas containing environments and exhibits excellent mechanical properties at temperatures ranging from sub-zero up to about 480C.
